About Kristen Brown

I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC and I'm a proud alumnus of NC State, where I earned my degree in Tourism Management. While working abroad in the resort industry, my passion for photography developed quickly as I traveled to new places and discovered interesting people and colorful cultures around the world. I'm so lucky to do what I do! I fell in love with photography years ago but never dreamed that I could turn it into a career until I came back to my home town. It became a reality thanks to the support of my husband, family and friends.

It's a funny thing, photography, it has as much to do with personal relationships as it does artistic talent. It begins with a wedding, the birth of a child, and the growth of a family. Everyone wants to document the most important milestones in their lives. I am so honored when they choose me to capture those precious moments.
